Creating image through light and shadow
Paper Sculpture Art
Using techniques she has developed over a number of years, Mimi produces her paper sculptures by making precise carvings into the surface of paper. The carvings give a textural relief on the surface of the paper that creates image through light and shadow.

Artworks that bring you closer to nature
Biophilic artwork, by design
Inspired by nature, adventure and the pursuit of feeling both calm and energised. Mimi’s artworks bring those feelings of freedom - mentally and physically - to the space where her artworks live.
The unique textural surface created by the paper carvings evokes both Mimi’s feelings, and the patterns and textures seen in the natural world.
From tree bark, to ripples and waves in the ocean, and the form and delicate structure of mushrooms and fungus. These carvings create an additional depth and character to the artworks.
